PICO 7 Negative Pressure Wound Therapy Kit

The Smith & Nephew PICO 7 is a wound care system that uses suction to give Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT). This pulls excess fluid from a wound and produces a compressive force to keep the damaged region clean, ultimately promoting wound closure. The PICO 7 system consists of an NPWT pump connected to an absorbent gentle adhesive dressing.

Depending on the amount of fluid from the incision, the dressings can be worn for up to 7 days. This will be determined by your wound's size, nature, amount of discharge, and location. Your healthcare provider will advise you on how frequently you should change your dressings.

System is portable, allowing patients the freedom to continue daily activities.
